What matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to our mission 🌟

We’d love to hear from people who bring:

    • Strategic finance or financial planning experience
    • HR or people management expertise
    • Fundraising skills or experience in generating income
    • Commercial business planning or strategy insight
    • An understanding of Scotland’s third sector
    • Music industry experience
    • Lived experience of migration

We welcome first‑time trustees and will support you to grow into the role.


Time commitment is a big question for most people when thinking about joining a board. We hope that the time you give to Music Broth will be rewarding and beneficial to you. However, we are a flexible organisation and we will do our best to make sure the role can work around your life, work and other commitments.

We would like our Music Broth board to reflect the diversity of our organisation, members and partners. We welcome interest and applications from people from all ages, stages and backgrounds. If you are interested but feel you have specific barriers to joining, please let us know so we can talk about how we can address these and make it possible for you.
